A descent, sophisticated lady arrives at grocery store. She was wearing a silk dress, diamond neck piece, ruby earrings and glasses of Prada. She was representing the rich genre and got classy looks. She came with her helper to shop for groceries. I was quite impressed by her make-up and dressing sense that I can’t stop myself from noticing her. I was aghast to see that she was buying food items by looking at their price tag and not their ingredients or nutritional value.
I move towards her to share my knowledge about healthy eating but her reaction that she can’t be so choosy and spend so much left me perplexed. I thought why people can spend thousands and lakhs on their jewelry pieces and luxury cars but can’t afford best food items???
It’s an old saying that Health is Wealth. As people spend their health gaining wealth and then shave to spend their wealth to regain their health. Mahatma Gandhi also says, “
It is health which is real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver
Well spending on health is same as just doing your health insurance. Just as we spend on insurance by assuming a risk of any disease by spending on health actually we are minimizing the risk of any occurrence of disease. It works as a preventive medicine.
The more you spend on health the more you save on wealth. As if you are suffering from some disease then you need to pay the doctor’s fees, expensive medicine, hospital cost, leave from work and an absence from many important tasks. You have to spend your precious wealth which could be used for another important requirement like water. Here in this case your health and wealth both are suffering. As just we invest in FDs, property and jewelry we should also invest in health to avoid any unforeseen contingency. If you have spent on health then for sure you are saving double on your wealth.

Good nutrition and healthy eating is the demand of our body. To promote our overall health it’s indispensable for us to opt for only high quality food items. Poor eating habits or diet can give birth to chronic and life-long diseases like Heart problems, Cancer, Diabetes etc.

Have you ever thought that when you will fall sick then what would be the cost??? You will not have to pay only to the doctor but also sacrifice your leaves and face emotional distress. This cost can’t be calculated.
